Used Landrover Auto Parts

Land Rover evolved into its own brand (and for a time, a company), with an ever-expanding lineup of four-wheel-drive, off-road capable vehicles. Beginning by the much more upmarket 1970 Range Rover, and followed by the introductions of the mid-range Discovery and entry-level Freelander lines (in 1989 and 1997), as well as the 1990 Land Rover Defender refresh, the marque now includes two Discovery models, four distinct Range Rover models, and, after a three-year hiatus, a second generation of Defenders for the 20th century.

Used Landrover Auto Parts

Land Rover is a British brand of mostly four-wheel-drive, off-road capable vehicles owned by Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), which has been a subsidiary of India's Tata Motors since 2008. Land Rovers are currently manufactured in Brazil, China, India, Slovakia, and the United Kingdom by JLR. The Rover Company invented the Land Rover brand in 1948 for a utilitarian 4WD off-roader; however, today's Land Rover vehicles are exclusively upmarket and luxurious sport utility vehicles. In 1951, King George VI gave Land Rover a Royal Warrant, and 50 years later, in 2001, it was awarded the Queen's Award for Enterprise for exceptional contribution to foreign trade.

Land Rovers and Range Rovers solely depended on their signature boxed-section vehicle frames for half a century (from 1948 to 1997, when the Freelander was introduced). Land Rover used boxed frames with a direct commodity bloodline until the original Defender was discontinued in 2016, and their last body-on-frame model, the third generation Discovery, was replaced by a monocoque in 2017. Since then, the body and frame configuration of both Land Rovers and Range Rovers has been united. After 62 years of building solely 4WD engines, Land Rover has launched two-wheel drive versions of both the Freelander and the Evoque since 2010.

In some markets, the 2WD Freelander has been replaced by a 2WD Discovery Sport. The Range Rover Evoque was introduced in September 2011, and although it was based on the LRX hybrid model seen at the 2008 North American International Auto Show, it lacked the ERAD system that had been used in the original concept. Land Rover debuted an all-terrain electric Defender with zero emissions at the 83rd Geneva Motor Show in February 2013. Following the successful trials of the Defender-based electric vehicle, Leopard 1, the electric vehicle was designed for research purposes.

The vehicle has a range of 80 kilometres and can last up to eight hours in low-speed off-road use before recharging. It is capable of producing 70 kW and 330 Nm of torque and has a range of 70 kW and 330 Nm of torque. Land Rover endorsed the production of a hand-crafted bicycle with its logo in 1995. The Land Rover APB was a collapsible version of Pashley Cycles' Moulton APB (All Purpose Bicycle) platform, with leading link front suspension and adjustable damping and stroke, made by Pashley Cycles of Stratford-upon-Avon. The Land Rover XCB V-20, targeted specifically at younger riders (children), and the Land Rover XCB D-26, also known as the M26 and featuring hydraulic rim brakes, front suspension, and a suspension seat pillar, followed quickly.
